Reports To: Fund Development Co-Ordinator and/or Bingo Lead-Hand
Time Commitment: 4.5-5.0 hour shifts per bingo. It is at the discretion of the volunteer the number of bingos she/he wishes to participate in up to 20 per year at various days and times throughout the year.
SUMMARY: To assist with the running of bingos at Bingo Country.
DUTIES:

1. Assist with the set-up of the sales counter
2. Sell bingo cards prior to and during the event if needed
3. Assist with prize payments, card counting and reconciliations
4. Assist with clean-up after the event

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. MUST BE 18 years of age or older
2. Knowledge of bingo is an asset but not a necessity
3. Good communication/interpersonal skills
4. Good arithmetic skills, counting change/money
5. Enjoy working with the public as a part of a team
6. Enthusiastic about the fundraising needs of the agency
7. Flexible in nature
8. Able to work in a smoke-filled environment
9. Responsible and reliable
10. Adherence to strict confidentiality

TRAINING, ORIENTATION & SUPPORT:

1. Attend a general orientation
2. On-the-job training by other volunteers
